melting pot The Crucible vs. Modern Day The play, The Crucible, had some lessons to be learned by the reader. The one that stands give away in my thought is the taking of responsibility for ones actions. The whole play revolves somewhat throng not brave enough to stand up and guide responsibility. This is a lesson that obviously has not been learned by large number through out thousands of years.
